Are you still in Florianopolis teaching English? Have you ever used The Silent Way, or seen it being used? I've recently started teaching English around here, and took an interest in Gattegno's method, but am not sure where to start when it comes to making use of it. Do you know about it and/or have any recommendations for a starting teacher in Florianopolis?

Thanks, your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Prises are still rising as of 2012 but be aware that the Florianópolis´ infrastructure in general dates back 30 years or more. Waste water management is only structured in the centre of the city. And last but not least, Ilha de Santa Catarina has its limits. Six years ago it was easy to go from north to south on the island. Today with so many more cars you are too often waiting in line and parking lots are hard to find. And all of this with food and restaurant prices that often exceed Europe and the US.

"Until the rich nations start making money instead of talking about defaults,...."

Until the leaders who (suppose to) represent the people, unemployed and employed of the so called rich nations, admit that the neo-liberal policies are a failure, openly admit that they are in reality broke, stop being a crook, stop protecting crooks aka banksters, admit their failures so they can solve the problem(s) faster, stop printing money and creating more debt, stop the bailouts, quantitative easing, stop the policy of close to zero % interest rates (which is bad for savers for who can save), it won't make any money, never. If they simply let the "zombie" banks fail (real capitalism), and stop the unfair process of pushing "austerity measures" unto the people who are paying for the "zombie" banks who gambled, lost and want their money at the cost of the rest of the people around the world, it will start making money again.

Dilma rousseff (the Bulgarian Bear) is right to lash out to the so called rich nations who do not want to compete fairly but rather is cheating and destroying itself in the long term. If you don't protect yourself now, you will go down with them.

The Bible Fund has been operating in Brazil as a nonprofit for some years. It has purchased Bibles in Sao Paulo and distributed the Bibles, free of charge, all over Brazil. Now somebody tells me I need a CPNJ number. Surely this is not required for nonprofits who do not do business in Brazil, but merely distribute Bibles as a charity. Your assessment, please. Thanks. Pastor John
